NYC In No Words

by Wendi // September 9, 2010

I went to NYC without my laptop, so I haven’t done any writing. But sometimes, isn’t it nice to be without words for a little while? Here’s the city how I saw it:

All photos taken on my iPhone using Hipstamatic.

Wonderful pictures! I think I might leave my big camera at home when I go in November and just take hipstamtic pics.

I lived in NY my entire life and I still get chills when I see pics like these. Lovely way to memorialize your trip, rather than with words.

Okay, that’s the best argument yet for getting an iPhone.

(No, I don’t have one! They work for crap in my town!)

    Super-cool shots, Wendi.

    🙂 A.

I wish to make a complaint. In the 14 photo there clearly are words and yet this post was advertised as NYC in no words. See… right there… you can clearly make out the words ‘uttle 42nd street’ Those, young Mrs Arrons, are clearly words.

I’m calling the trading standards poeple.

Thank you. That was beautiful. It’s almost as if I were there. Wait – I was just there. Thanks for the fond memories. It really is an amazing city. We are lucky as Americans to have it. We should always take care of it and celebrate it’s wonderful diversity – even if we don’t actually get to live there.

You’ve made me very nostalgic. Ah, the flatiron building and walking past you every day on my way to work! The park tables and chairs! Nothing better on a nice day. Grand Central! That restaurant across the street from it, Pershing Square, has the best cosmos, fyi.
    Hope you’re having fun.
