First of all, thank you to everyone who left a comment, read about or passed along information regarding my Oxfam giveaway. I really, truly appreciate it. I’ve completely loved reading about the shitty gifts you’ve all received and the comments have been making me laugh all week long. And that right there is a the best gift around, in my opinion. (Also, I noticed that quite a few of the shitty gifts were from “ex” husbands…)
Now, on to the randomly chosen winner:
Congratulations to Kristina Cetrulo! You get the manure, baby! (I hope it’s the right size. I pegged you as a “Medium.”) Please email me your details, and then you can either give the manure to a farmer in your name, or bestow that honor to someone on your gift list.
If you didn’t win, please don’t be too sad because some very cool bloggers are also doing the Oxfam thing and they’re giving away fabulous goats, chickens and other types of livestock that doesn’t need to be giftwrapped. Here are just a few of them:
Apparently, goats are the new black this season. Who knew?
Again, thanks to everyone for reading and commenting. I’ll be back later this week to tell you all about the Lousiana roadtrip from which I’m just now starting to recover. (Note: the trip may have included a few swear words.)
