It’s Probably A Good Thing Today’s The Last Day of Preschool
May 18th, 2009
A few weeks ago, we took the boys to a minor league baseball game where they were given free backpacks. Jack was very excited about his and took it with him to preschool today.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t until I picked him up four hours later that I realized there were a few other free items inside the backpack for him to find. And carry around his classroom. His classroom that just so happens to be inside a church.
Like this item, for example:
We’re very proud.

Wait, wait, wait. It’s NEVER a good day for the last day of preschool! (Though maybe the teachers might prefer a FILLED one of those, by now!)

Don’t make me laugh. I’ve had the stomach flu and everything hurts.

OMG, now the teachers will think that you drink light beer.

I’m with Marinka—I’d be afraid they think I like bad beer.
That is awesome.

I particularly like the “responsibility matters” under the Bud Light logo. So appropriate.
I feel for you, because this is the kind of thing that happens to me.

Does Jack, coincidentally, rock a mullet?
That’s awesome. It’s stories like this that make me want kids.

Well, if it was a Lutheran church, we probably wouldn’t have noticed. Except to comment on your bad taste in beer, of course.

How did I miss this? One year my youngest needed a water bottle for a field trip and he said “Moooooooooooooooom can I use this?” without looking up I said suuuuuuure! He couldn’t get the lid on so he asked me if I could do it… I said bring it here. He had refilled a glass beer bottle with water… Ah, no.
